Course Synopsis:

Diploma in Business (Digital Marketing) allows students to develop a more holistic understanding of digital marketing and its impact on modern business practices. Graduates of a Diploma in Business (Digital Marketing) program are equipped not only with the technical skills necessary for digital marketing but also with a deeper understanding of the strategic and operational aspects of business, which can be valuable in a range of business contexts. This program consists of 12 modules covering various key topics in business, management, marketing, and digital marketing skills.

Learners will benefit from a combination of theoretical lectures and practical exercises that will equip them with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their businesses and the fast-paced world of Digital Marketing. The modules cover a broad range of topics, including project management, marketing and customer experience management, leadership and organizational excellence management, operations management and digital marketing. Throughout the program, learners will be taught how to deliver exceptional customer service and create positive customer experiences.

They will learn how to anticipate customer needs, exceed expectations, and handle complaints and difficult situations with grace and professionalism. 1. Introduction to Project Management

This module will introduce students to the fundamental skills and knowledge on project design and management. Students will learn about the principles of project management, including project planning, scheduling, and resource management. Learners will also develop skills in risk management, project monitoring and control, as well as project review and evaluation.

2. Organizational Leadership and Management

The module on organizational leadership and management aims to provide learners with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively lead and manage teams within an organizational setting. Learners will explore different leadership styles, theories, and approaches to management, as well as gain an understanding of organizational behavior and dynamics. The module will also cover key topics such as communication, motivation, decision-making, and conflict resolution, all of which are essential for effective organizational leadership and management.

3. Operations Management

Operations management is the focus of this module. Students will learn how to design and manage processes and systems, plan and manage capacity, ensure quality control, and manage supply chain logistics. They will learn to assess performance of operations using KPIs and other established methods as well as drive corrective action plans to close operation gaps.

4. Introduction to Marketing

This module introduces students to the basic concepts of marketing, including market research and analysis, product development, branding strategies, and pricing tactics. Students will also explore different advertising and promotion strategies and learn about digital marketing and social media marketing. Finally, students will gain an understanding of international marketing considerations.

5. Business and Service Excellence

This module will focus on the importance of business and service excellence in business. Students will be introduced to strategies for
business excellence in relation to the customer journey and experience. They will also explore relevant tools and strategies for driving customer loyalty and business performance. Finally, students will examine case studies of successful continual improvement programs and service excellence initiatives which have led to long-term business excellence.

6. Customer Experience Management

The course focuses on total customer service management. Students will learn about the different stages of the customer journey, learn how to map customer touchpoints, and understand the importance of emotional connections in customer experiences. They will also examine methods for measuring and evaluating customer satisfaction and explore ways to continuously improve customer service processes.

7. WSQ Integrated Digital Marketing Campaign

The aim of this module is to provide learners with an overview of the digital marketing and the pillars and parts of digital marketing. Learners will learn to identify the various digital marketing platforms and how to put them together for an integrated marketing operation plan.

8. WSQ Social Media Branding

This module will equip learners with the knowledge of Branding, Marketing and Public Relations, and skills to brand on online social media. This module will provide learners with the importance of branding and public relations and how to use social media as a communication tool.

9. WSQ E-commerce & Social Commerce

The aim of this module is to equip learners with the knowledge of Ecommerce marketing and fulfilment. Learners will be taught how to deploy E-commerce website and run social commerce livestreaming events.

10. WSQ Paid Online Marketing

The aim of this module is to equip learners with the knowledge of Online Advertising and how to deploy landing pages and run online advertising. Learners will be equipped with the skills to run paid online marketing campaigns on popular online marketing networks.

11. WSQ Search Engine Optimisation for Sales

The aim of this module is to equip learners with basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation technology and how to deploy Search Engine Optimised website. Learners will be equipped with skills to apply Search Engine Optimisation to a website to improve traffic for their business.

Project Work

This is a capstone project whereby learners will undertake research on a topic related to digital marketing and produce an individual assignment that demonstrates the ability to develop a comprehensive digital marketing campaign plan.
At the end of the module, the learner will be required to present their plans to a panel of assessors.

Attendance:Achieved minimum attendance of 75% to qualify for graduation.
Assessment Method:Students will be assessed by a variety of assignments and examinations including individual coursework, assignments and digital portfolio presentations.
Graduation Criteria:Students who have successfully completed the course by passing every module will be awarded the Diploma in Business (Digital Marketing) by ACETEK College.
